Pastoral Care
At Magdalen College School pastoral support is at the heart of everything we do in our sixth form. Each student is part of a vertical tutor group (year 12 and 13 mix) with a dedicated tutor who is your first point of contact for any concerns or support.
All our tutor groups are located at St. Johns site creating an exclusive Sixth Form community.
Mr. Percival, study centre manager, works closely with all our students to ensure they are developing the independent study skills that are required to secure success in their examinations, whilst also providing care, guidance, and support to students who may need it. We have a dedicated Pastoral Support Assistant for sixth form who is based full-time at St John’s and Mrs. Chambers along with Ms. Ansell, Attendance administrator, work tirelessly to support all our students to success.
