In February 2025 the ‘Old Brackleians’ society of former students made a donation to the school from the funds they have established over a number of years.

The ‘Old Brackleians’ have asked us to use their donation to support current students having access to any opportunity beyond the usual curriculum that has the potential to shape their future. Examples might include a trip or visit; a chance to engage in an additional Work Experience, or attend an online conference or course.

In order to access support from the Brackleians Opportunity Fund the student (with support from a parent, carer or member of staff) should write to the Headteacher with an outline of the activity they wish to engage in, and how they hope it will support their future. The Headteacher will be responsible for making decisions regarding the use of funds towards these opportunities.

An annual summary of the use of the fund, and the impact on students will be shared with the donors.

We are extremely grateful to the Old Brackleians for their donation and commitment to our current students. We are also aware that the donation is finite.
