Cover Supervisor/Associate Teacher
Up to 32.5 hours per week; 8:30am – 3:30pm (Negotiable)
Part time and/or zero-hours contracts considered
39 weeks per year
Grade G: £24,702 - £26,421 gross, £18,642 - £19,939 pro-rata
Are you a recent graduate looking to explore working in schools or with young people? We’d love to introduce you this most rewarding profession and help you get started on your career in education.
The immediate role will involve providing cover for teachers who are absent and looking after one-off classes. Alongside this you’ll have the chance to work with individuals or small groups of students and to contribute to our Enrichment programme. We hope that by the end of 1 or 2 years in this role you will be starting formal teacher training. We can introduce you to one of our partner organisations so you can train in local schools.
Where possible we will direct your experience towards subjects you have studied and full support and training will be provided to help you take your first steps to the front of the classroom.
