Pupil Premium

National Statistics show that there is a gap between the attainment of students from low income families and their peers. This gap also exists for children who are in the care of the local authority (children looked after, CLA) and for those who have a parent in the armed services.

Pupil Premium (PP) is additional funding given to schools so that they can provide support for students in Years 7 to 11 who belong to any of these 3 categories, in particular, students who are currently registered for free school meals (FSM) and who have been registered for FSM at any time in the last 6 years.

This statement details our school’s use of pupil premium funding to help improve the attainment of our disadvantaged pupils.
