The ‘Magdalen Diploma’ is a unique scheme developed by the school in partnership with local employers. The Diploma supports students in recording and reflecting on their development of key qualities:

• Reliability
• Teamwork
• Communication
• Motivation
• Integrity
• Participation

The Diploma programme is launched in Year 8 with the Bronze Award. Students are supported by their Form Tutor in monitoring their own progress and present their portfolio to the Leader of Learning for certification.

Students move onto the Silver and Gold Awards through years 9 to 11.
