Joining Other Year Groups
In year admissions from a secondary school to Magdalen College School
All in-year applications for a place at Magdalen College School should be made via West Northants admissions team. When the Local Authority has received the application they will contact Magdalen to enquire whether or not we have the capacity to accept a new student into a specific year group. If this is a possibility, then the Leader of Learning for your child’s year will contact you to arrange a visit and discuss any issues and the reason for the transfer prior to a place being allocated. Magdalen College School will also contact your child’s previous school for school reports on behaviour, attendance and subjects studied.
